edit: Nevermind, I figured it out
I've got two quick newbie questions considering the XV15s and XV25s.
1) They're called Stealth suits, and it says they have "integrated stealth generators", but I cant find anywhere stating that they have the Stealth Special Rule (which I think is kinda silly). So, do they have Stealth or not?
2) Regarding their Equipment, is says in the Codex that:, but Im not really sure what it means. Does it mean, that if one member of a stealth team takes a support system, every other member must take a support system (but not nessesarily the same), or does it mean, that every team member must have the same support system? Each member may select one battlesuit support system. If this option is taken, all members must do so, though each may select a different system
And what systems do people usually use on the Stealth teams?
- Thanks alot for reading.

Tell us what you figured out and we can tell you if you got it right.
And regarding my second question it was simply the wording which confused me. I dont have a major in english or anything, but arent alot of the phrasings in the Tau armybook abit off? I mean, if it wasnt for this forum I would have been totally clueless when it comes to figuring out the difference in all those systems and choices the XV8s have. Anyway, I reread the paragraf slowly a couple of times and came to the conclussion, that if a Stealth suit team member chooses a single support system, then everyone else on that team must also choose a support system (but not nessesarily the same).
As for whichever support system is best, my guess is the targetting array, as it'll bring the Stealth suits up ti BS 4 which probably is the best "all comers" strategy.
The reason for my questenings is that Im finaly starting my Tau army somewhat up again, after its been taking a long break, collecting dust on my shelves, while I've been gathering my fantasy WoC army. In the middle of next week Im having a casual 2v2 team match with a couple friends (and some beer), and I wanted to upgrade my Tau army to 750points, as thats what we're gonna play, so I went down to my local GW store and thought to myself "You know, Thomas, you could buy another XV8, but why not go for something alittle bit different, just for the fun of trying out some of the Tau units that arent FWs and XV8s", and then I ended up buying a Hammerhead and some Stealth suits.
I would have posted my army in the army list section if it wasnt pointless, since Im already using (almost) all my models and cant afford more just now, so there is really no changes to be had in my setup, and all general tactics can already be found on this forum primary thanks to you guys.
Anyway, Rikimaru, thanks for showing an interest. Im curious to hear if I've made some mistakes along the way
I think the codex was written before the USR rule Stealth existed.. anyhow instead of that you have a special rule in the stealthfield generator which means the enemy has to test for nightfight if they wish to shoot the buggers.
I've used that to give them markerlight + 2x markerlight drones, horribly expensive and not particulary effective for the points, but pretty fun.
otherwise I mostly use: (mostly with bonding knives)
suit with fusion+TA
suit with drone controller with 2x gundrones
suitleader with markerlight+targetlock
+ as many suits with either TA or drone controller as I want that day
3-6 harassing suits with nothing more then maybe bonding knives (if they are 6) that infiltrates
