Raider with FF
Venom with 2nd SC
You be the call. I can see both side of the argument.
1) Venom- pop the transport and shoot the insides, smaller easier to hide from being shot if enemy has 1st turn, and 5 points cheaper
2) Raider- DE needs DL more than anti infantry. Also by having both the vehicle and the troops pop mech you could leave them inside the vehicle for extra survivability (but you may prefer to go after 2 targets so I'm not a big fan of this)

Don't all speak up at once
it really depends on the rest of your army, if the rest of your army has alot of flamers razorwings or just alot of splinter shots i would opt for the raiders but if the rest of your army has a lot of anti-tank then go for the venoms. what i tend to do is look at the rest of myarmy at look at what it has a lot of and where it is lacking before i choose.
venom, its much smaller and easier to hide which is very important because a blaster trueborn squad is a very high priority target. also the firepower it can produce aint half bad.
Ok, so I voted for the raider, it makes it harder for your opponent to distinguish between your units when he is shooting at them, it gives you the option of a NS over a FF if you so desire it, it's only 5 more points, and that dark lance is just so useful.
Saying that, I currently run mine in venoms for a couple of reasons,
People seem to make smaller targets lower priority
I have 2 venom models and not 2 more raiders
I like the 12 splinter shots that can just push a unit into death range for my kabalites to finish of and gain their pain token. Something the range of 36 helps alot with as well, (this is a hard benefit to describe, if you want I can explain it more)
I have a hell of alot of dark light weaponry in my lists usually, so one lance isn't going to change the game, but it is nice to have the extra potshot
Overall like others have said, it depends on the list they are in more than anything, but i do love the idea of them flying on a venom shooting off the back like teenagers in a car with loud music, saying that as a stand alone unit id go with the raider, more dark lances is never a bad thing
The trueborn w/ 4 blasters is a very expensive unit so you will want to protect them and the venom has slightly better survivability with the flickerfield and also being smaller.
So that is a point for the venom also in the venom's corner is that it is slightly cheaper and you won't be wasting unused transport space by having the trueborns in it.
That leaves firepower. The raider has the dark lance so can hunt tanks, but so can the trueborns inside so it is a little redundant I believe. So it is the disintegrator cannon against the SC's. And against most opponents the two SC's are going to be more effective than the one disintegrator.
Leads me to think the venom is the better of the two.
Prey they don't take you alive
I use the venom. To me it's kind of the perfect package. 4 blaster shots to kill the transport and then the 12 splinter shots to pepper whatever was inside. And on the off chance that you don't break the transport (or if you shot at something with nothing in it, the splinter cannon has the range to hit whatever else you need to.
I voted venom. The smaller size is key since our vehicles need as much survivability as they can get, and it will probably make the best choice for this squad as long as their are raiders in your army already.
With 4 blasters, a raider's dark lance will probably end up shooting a different target than the trueborn will. The raider will be bigger and easier to hit, and its nightshield will only be of use early game since the trueborn will be moving closer to catch tanks with blasters.
5 points isn't a lot to pay for an extra dark lance or disintegrator though, and even though a raider is bigger and easier to score solid hits on, at least it has some added troop capacity in case some other units need a pick up.
Either is fine depending on your army, but since I run plenty of raiders and a ravager already, personally I would opt for the venom.
