If Grotsnik and a Wierdboy are in the same squad and 'ere we Go is rolled for the psychic power, can the unit be placed anywhere on the battlefield or must they be placed as close to the closest unit as possible?
I believe Grotsniks rage like ability only applies during the movement and assault faze. The weirdboy power happens during the shooting faze and therefor "'ere we go" should be able to happen without being restricted by "One Scalpel short of a Medpack"
is there any official ruling on this? I see nothing in the faq.
Never heard of this being done but I believe you're right, the ere we go is not movement, and only movement is affected by the Mad Dok's rage
well during the movement phase, the Mad Dok [with his unit] must move as fast as possible towards the nearest enemy [as he may not leave the squad]...
then if 'ere we go is rolled from the wierdboy, you may deep-strike them anywhere you wish.
There is absolutely no conflict of rules and does give a 0.333' chance [if he is a warphead] of having a little control over where he goes XD
What a great idea...And depending on what unit he's with. The 5++ and FNP would help in case the warphead blew his top.
Of course the only issue with the ere we go is scattering into terrain. I lost a unit of 250 point unit of shootas that way once....
