I'm thinking about making some biker nobz but I don't know the most effective way to arm them, can someone who uses them give me some advice?
There are tons of threads on this; I'd go through and take a look at those.
The last game I played was 1250 points and my Biker Nobs looked like this:
Big Choppa/Waaagh Banner
Painboy (gave the squad Cybork Bodies)
I then added my Warboss on a bike, who was tricked out pretty sweet as well.
Regarding how you arm them I'd really take a strong look over the codex and do some research/play-testing on your own. Try some different combinations and see how you like the results. I usually never equip them with gun upgrades (combi weapons, etc) because I'm always firing their dakkaguns. But, that's just how I run them. I'd really take a look over the forums and look at some of the older threads where this has been discussed in great detail.
Hope this helps,
The only reason you'd give them each separate guns, is for wound allocation tricks. If each nob is "uniquely" different from another nob, you can assign the wounds however you see fit, as each nob becomes it's own separate group in terms of wound allocations. ie. You don't have to assign wounds to the one that would result in the fastest causality.
I do this.
PK + pole
PK + banner
Also have a warboss biker with PK + attack squig.
