So i bought a group of Warlocks, Farseers and Eldrad in one auction off ebay mainly because i wanted to get a handful of warlocks for a cheap price. In doing so i ended up have 4 Farseers. I don't really plan on doing Apoc. battles so i am stuck with more Farseers then i need.
So my questions is, if i convert one of the Farseers to a Jetbike Farseer will it be viable on the table? I was thinking of running a solo Farseer on Jetbike to run around the board casting Fortune and Doom. Will that work? Anyone have success doing this?
Short answer: Yes. Detailed answer: Not alone. Why? Being alone makes it a fairly juicy kill point, even with a re-rollable 3+/4++ save because some simple bad luck from the plethora of S6+ weapons makes for a nice splatter. However, a seer council (Warlocks) on bikes WITH the farseer is still a really good option that while is a tad expensive, can make up for it. A squad of rerollable 3+/4++ with enough options to abuse wound allocation and a psyker that can re-roll failed psychic tests ain't too shabby. Yes, convert one (or two!) to a bike, but at the very least, put it with other bikes for protection.

Fantasy: Windhost of Athel'Loren 2/0/0 - Daemons of Another Great Squiggle! 0/0/0
Warmahordes: Legion of Everblight (Absylonia)
Thanks for the advice! I will get a jetbike today. Now to find a way to get more.
Oh and can you upgrade the jetbike with a Shuriken Cannon for +10 points? I dont see where you can or cant do this.

Another option to consider for the extra farseers is "neutering" them by snipping off their special farseer bits, doing a little repainting, and just using them as warlocks. I think that's what a lot of us Ulthwe players wound up doing after the elimination of true seer councils. I've never had a problem with an opponent getting confused.
nice bit of advice sunny, never though of that
