Last night I tied tyranids in a 1500 point seek and destroy mission. He had two hive tyrants. I think a good tactic to killing them is using a vod and monolith (although monolith was glanced and I rolled a 6 first turn of game). It was fun.

eh, a more in depth report would be nice.

we all like hearing details about necrons beating up on bugs.

Ya but if you lose... We, uhhh... Don't wanna know about it .JK.

Useing a lith to kill an HT is very eneffective. Any nid player that knows anything about anything would take Tyrant Guard, so even if you manage to hit the HT ubder the whole, you did a wound to one of the TGs. Best way is to rapid fire whith a full sqd of 20 warriors than assault it whith a Destroyer Lord.

I've always heard chucking a D Lord with warscythe and a squad of 5 pariah at it is a good tactic. Most people aim at the lord, allowing your pariah to swing.
