This is a thread dedicated to builds using the royal court as a unit in its own right rather than splitting everything of to join other units.
There are two that I personally have been considering that fit into my 1.5k list.
The first is 4-5 Harbingers of destruction with 1 solar pulse. This unit is there purely to blow up vehicles and MC's while using the pue to protect from early game shooting.
The second is 4 harbingers of the storm and 1 harbinger of despair with the veil of darkness. This is a unit subject to a bit more risk, while having greater utility against the tough vehicles out there, such as land raiders and other monoliths. It is also more effective at helping thin out basic troops

Depending on how it gets ruled in the FAQ, you could get a lot of milage out of the Harbingers of Transmogrification. If their Tremor Stave combines with the C'Tan's Writhing World Scape, you can force enemy vehicles to take dangerous terrain failing 1s and 2s, or really mess over any kind of biker or jump infantry unit. Plus, I think it will generally behoove players to take at least one for the Harp of Dissonance. Start plinking away with it's Entropic Strike attack at Land Raiders and such
i got 1 lord with scythe and res orb, 2 tecks with tremor staves and 1 teck with lightning feild

You now have a unit with 15 Str5 ap3 shots, albiet short ranged. And that is why you give them a ghost ark from a necron warrior squad (who can objective sit or something). That's a lot of anti MEQ firepower roving around in an AV13 vehicle they can shoot from. Hell, the court are the ONLY non-IC unit who can steal a ghost ark.
Could even stick some crypteks in for lances or other buffs. I think it'll be fun.

if you're going to run in a ghost ark anyways, why not just use crypteks? They come with a staff also and their having less str, T, and AS arent going to matter for 10 points cheaper.
Hey, go hard or go home. 5 lords with staff of light, 1 res orb, 5 crypteks with staff of light, borrowing a Ghost ark. 30 S5 AP3 shots at 24" range in an armor 13 vehicle. Though this does clock in at 445 points... 510 if you count the minimum unit of warriors you'd need to get the ghost ark in the first place. Or alternatively, 5 crypteks with eldritch lance in said ghost ark for some nice anti-armor.

I still like the idea of dropping 5 Destruction Crypteks inside a Ghost ark. Warriors sitting outside, gives me a tank that can fire all 5 of those S8 shots safely from open topped!

1x Despair + veil, 3x destruction, 1x eternity with chronometron and timesplitter cloak led by Trazyn. Anti-tank teleporting scoring unit with a re-roll and invul save, shooting, and half a deepstrike. Along with anti-infantry if someone gets close. (yeah too split up)
4x destruction + 1x eternity with chrono (maybe a timesplitter) led by trazyn for a scoring devastator squad.
3x despair inside a ghost ark for a 13.99" + flame template threat distance ap1 cover save ignoring thats 3-4+ to wound on most targets.
or to mess around 5x lord with warscythe and phaseshifter + 3x mindshackle scarabs and a res orb with 1x eternity cryptek with chrono and timesplitter and a despair cryptek with veil inside a ghost ark. Beats any elite cc unit by taking away on average 2-3 of thier models and making them hit themselves, and a 3+ invul with a reroll on failed invuls. Also all are ever-living so if they get wiped they all can get back up. (yes its around 1k points >.>) *edit needs nemesor zandrek also for furious charge, 8 str instant death goodness.*
