Yes I'm jumping on the band wagon and starting necrons. But I want to go for something a lil different. So I figured necrons painted up to look like actual skeletons. Maybe add some effects to make it look like the bone color is chipping off and show their true metallic color. Also what to do about their vehicles, do them bone too or something different.
Ideas, comments, or advice much appreciated.
Thanks in advance. Pillow
Mine are colored a boneish color and I love it, I've gotten a bunch of compliments on them as well. This is not my warrior but this is the color scheme I copied, http://www.artofarmik.com/wp-content...1218661233.jpg
for the vehicles I haven't done anything with the new stuff like the barges or the arks but for the monolith having the corners being a brighter bleached bone and the inside more tan looks really nice, Sorry I don't have any photos right now.
I've been struggling on a paint scheme myself. The skeleton idea sounds great. I would suggest making them a little dirty to heighten the realistic bone look.
