Welcome to Librarium Online!
I was just thinking that catalyst and onslaught say "friendly unit". What armys could you think of that could take advantage of this. Catalyst sounds nice but im not sure if its with puting on a strong unit to make them more unkillable (like something with 2+ saves) or put it on a weak unit (with little or no saves) to give them a little bit of survivabilty.
besides these any other abilities that stands out to make us viable as a good partner? What can we do that makes us a good support.
I see nids working well with space wolves or even the grey knights. Cast onslaught and catalyst on a unit of paladins and they become fearsome indeed with FNP and a potential range of 36" with their psycannons. With space wolves, get a shooty base (3x long fangs, living lightning rune priests, land speeder typhoons) and protect them with endless gant screens. Then nids can swarm the objectives and kill infantry while SW shooting breaks down tanks.
Record: Win - Loss - Draw: Hive Fleet Pandora (New) 32-6-6 Space Wolf 7th Co. 52-11-6
Blood Angels 12-4-2 Daemonhunters 20-8-3
Imperial Guards 12-5-2 Daemons 8-3-2
Could work well with Eldar, mainly because the idea of a Seer Council on jet bikes with feel no pain and fortune cast on them seems hilarious to me.
I'd think any good shooty army. Tau, Guard, Wolves, Eldar, Vanilla Marines. Focus on the CC strength of the nids and balance with the shooting strengths of the other army. Best of both worlds.
I like the idea above of Eldar because the psychic powers can help anyone else in the army, if the partner rules would allow Guide or Fortune to be used on the Nids. Plus it would bring some needed speed and mech to the Nids.

Blood Angels are a great match up - I came 2nd in a local Doubles Tournament with those guys. But we lost to a 'nid/IG team ('nid went berserk with offence and deep strike, whilst IG focused on objectives and defence).
