We all know that scarabs are now a very good tank hunting unit (they have the same efficiency as melta vets with demolitions, aside from the small problem of getting into assault). What happens when they attack a vehicle with structure points? The codex states that when a vehicle's armor value is reduced to zero on any facing it is automatically wrecked. Super heavies have no defense against this type of attack. If we go the route of saying the vehicle loses a structure point, then it is driving around with AV 0. Is this even possible? Or can we wipe out titans with a mere 150 point unit. If this happens then scarabs render void shields useless. "You've got to get through 4 void shields before you can harm my titan." "Well I just reduced your rear armor to nought!" I guess this is going to need an FAQ. Of course there's always the chance I've missed something obvious.
Seems to me that if it hits 0 it's gone, game over.

Yes, but a SINGLE shot of the S10 10" pie plate should completely waste an entire squad of scarabs...no cover, double wounds. If he wounds 5 bases, you lose 10 bases...So it's a one trick pony...only if you can get them to be ignored...

Pretty much. But unless you're bringing 100 Scarabs, I wouldn't count on them getting anywhere near an enemy Super heavy. Unless he's been living under a rock your opponent is going to know just how dangerous Scarabs are and will prioritize killing them ASAP. This, however, is not necessarily a bad thing, as they can absorb a surprising amount of fire when in cover, so they may take most of the gunline off of your other units for a turn
