Welcome to Librarium Online!
-Link to previous Dark Eldar Tactica here: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ca-2011-a.html
I think it would be helpful for all our friends here at Dark Eldar HQ to get together the regular unit structures and tactics people use for them, in a much easier to access place than the current, old tactica, which requires much scrolling to get to anything relevant. I by no means resent or am ungrateful for the effort they took in compiling that tactica, but I believe that it would be much easier for both new players who need some help with their army lists and tactics, and for the more veteran generals to share their more playtested ideas and uses for different units, as well as discuss more alternative unit types.
I'd like to ask our more experienced players to take a short moment of their time to help us compile a more comprehensive guide to the finer points of our units. I've also added the types of army we have, which will include tips of what to inculde in the army and how to go about using it. Just comment on the thread and I'll reserve you the right to each units tactica:
- (Malys) - False Son
- (Drazhar) - kevin vanrooyen
- (Urien) - Mongooseo
- (Sliscus) - NMP
- (Kheradruakh) - Quixos
- (Baron) - Templarius
- (Court) - False Son
- (Succubus) - kevin vanrooyen
- (Grotesques) - Mongooseo
- (Trueborn) - NMP
- (Bloodbrides) - Quixos
- (Warriors) - NMP
- (Wyches) - El_Jairo
- (Wracks) - El_Jairo
- (Raiders) - kevin vanrooyen
- (Venoms) - El_Jairo
- (Hellions) - Templarius
- (Reavers) - nigelboyette
- (Ravagers) - El_Jairo
- Wych Cult Armies
- Shooty Kabal Armies
- Haemy Coven Armies
- WWP Armies
- Competitive Armies
- Strategical Tricks
I'll mark ones that have been reserved as red, in progress as orange and completed entries will be marked green, watch other thread to see how things are turning out.
Here's the thread for the finished tacticas to go - http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ml#post1882958
Here's the thread where we'll discuss the tacticas or any changes that could be made - http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ml#post1884310
It would be really good for our community to get this up and running to help us all. Thanks if you help out!

I would have been interested in doing this but with it being so close to christmas i doubt i can devote the time.
Also 6th edition is to be released in 6 months time, i would leave it until after it has been released, we wil require some time to playtest too so ideally this time next year to write the tactica and for it to not be a waste of time.
If you're always worried about crushing the ants beneath you...you won't be able to walk.
Slightly before christmas then, if at this time you think people won't put the commitment in. To be honest, our play-style has pretty much been perfected, in my eyes, giving people a good head start to making an army is always helpful, as even with the rumoured nerf on mech it won't affect our skimmers, flimsy as they are. With this in mind, I doubt our playstyle will change much in the edition shift as much as it did with the codex change, but that's to be expected...
NMP, this is a great idea because we don't have a nice overview here.
I'm very new to dark eldar and these would help a lot. Also I hope to one day help can write one up
Well, all I need is for you to ask for a unit or two to write one for and I'll make another thread where we can have the compilation. Who wants what then...? I personally want to 'dibs' Kabalite Warriors for myself, but everyone else can choose which they want. Experienced players only please.
How much / what exactly are you after?
Length-wise is whatever you can come up with, content must include different builds, reasons for these builds, effectiveness of certain builds and other units that synergise well with having these units in your army, as well as the weaknesses each build has to overcome. Any experience you have had with each build is helpful, and if you can some maths-hammer to help show the raw statistics. Some anecdotes in which a particular strategy has worked well or show how to use the unit to greatest effect are also welcome if you have them.
NMP i would like to have a crack at the reavers, i know how they work and almost always include them in my lists.
