Hello Craftworldians...

I'm a 'nid player but my wife is starting to build up an Eldar army as well and we began it with the Battleforce box set. She was assembling her Falcon, but there seem to be no options as far as weapons are concerned. With the 'nids you have a different option on the sprue for every weapon you might want to give your Gaunt/Tyrant/Fex etc, but no such options on the Falcon sprues. Can you do WYSIWYG Falcons? Do you get different sprues in the Falcon box than you do in the Battleforce?

Sadly GW only provides the one gun. You can however buy the metal bits from the GW site for whatever weapon you wish to use. I don’t think it takes much, if any converting other than a simple weapon swap to get the alternate guns mounted on the falcon.

If you got the Battleforce set, then you have some Guardians, buy a heavy weapon platform for them, you will get spare weapons.

Its a bit fiddly, but you have to cut of the barrel of the bright lance and then the barrel of the weapon you want to put there and but the barrel on the the gun, other wise its missing the armour plate over the side of the gun, although you could probably do it with green stuff.

I think we will actually magnet it. The Falcon is built (mostly) but there should be no trouble cutting the barrel off and gstuffing on a magnet...

Hmm... Time to buy a weapon platform. Thanks for the tip! (Y)

Just thought I should add, if you're having a hard time distinguishing which weapon is which...

This was a major help for me when I was new, hope it helps.

Is the 'pulse laser' on the diagram not a Bright Lance? Looks like it to me. I always thought that the long thing beside the twin-linked Shuriken Catapults was the Pulse Laser.

No, that is a Pulse Laser. Pulse lasers are similar to brightlances anyway. The thing next to the TL shuri-cats is some sort of sensor/probe, much like the cattle prod on the front of SM Landspeeders.
