Has anyone taken a few of these at all? They look like they'd be awesome at slowing down assault-y units, giving us a bit longer to whittle away at them with our short ranged firepower, like destroyers/warriors/immortals/deathmarks. Any experiences with the transmog-tek and how to best utilise the tremorstave?
I have a good question: What happens when you use the Tremorstave to make open terrain difficult for the unit hit AND a C'Tan using Writhing Worldscape? I would have to think that if that unit moves, they would have to make Dangerous terrain tests even in open terrain. Cool don't you think? Double your pleasure, double your fun!
I like them. Even if you're just using them on plain old troops they can throw a wrench in the gears on your opponent's strategy. I think it's because people like to be able to plan ahead with a 100% certainty. Just watch how much time people waste having their units walk around a piece of area terrain instead of through it, just so they can avoid random die rolls.
I take one with every list (right behind my priority list after destro.teks) just because of that. It really helps with battlefield control.
