so, we're for sure in 4th edition. can people tell me the things that concern de and what you think of them? possible pro/con opinions
good game <a href='http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?Potratz' target='_blank'>http://mistupid.com/stuff/whackbin.htm</a>
DE.. fear them, play them, BE them...
-*God of HALO2 .... question my skills? challenge me on xbox live and i'll show you who's boss*-
PRO: We are one of the few armies that can still assault out of our transports.
R U 0K!??!? BUHHHHST WUUUULFFFFF!!!
Pro: Splinter rifles are less crap.... they now fit the fluff of the mobile army so I'm happy.
Pro: An imbolised result won't destroy your slow moving ravager hiding at the back
Pro: Jetbikes now get a 6" assault move whether they assault or not. (Our codex states that a reaver works as an eldar jetbike, the new rulebook gives this advantage to eldar jetbikes, Yay reavers)
Pro: Escalation and concealment... perfect for a lightly armoured fast army
Con: No screening all Wyches MUST be in a raider or WWP in, grotesques are nto so useful anymore (poor grotesques )
wow so 4th ed overa improved the DE alot. sry i cant give any reasons for pro's and con's but i am a newb...and great to hear that the DE are getting some recognition from GW finally.
Karentalsis, RJBs do not get the assault move. They are listed in the 4E rulebook as Jetbikes, not Eldar Jetbikes. Since the rulebook is newer, it overrides the codex.
Hadn't spotted that, thanks.Originally posted by Tegadil@Oct 22 2004, 10:16
