So having looked through a couple pages and not finding an answer, I had a couple questions about the Loota/Burna boxed kit.
1) You can only make 4 Lootas/Burnas in a kit, the GW site states that the 5th is a mek, can I instead make him into a Loota/Burna? (whichever I dont choose.)
2) Can I buy AoBR boyz and use the extra bits to make Burnas/Lootas? (Trimming of the arms of course.)
Thank you for your help!
Armies: 40k: Imperial Guard, Orks Fantasy: Skaven
1) The box only has four weapon sets for either lootas and burnas, so basically yes, you can slap one of the leftover stuff upon the fifth model. In case of a game just explain what it is (of course rules lawyers and WYSIWYG crazies might object but meh...)
2) occasionally difficult due to the backpack tank ans such gubbinz but basically doable, yes (I did so myself)
Orks in general are very kitbash-friendly.
It ain't easy bein' green... :-)
You sure can. I'd recommend using a box of ork or orc boyz instead of AoBR because the arms will line up. They're heads and torsos are more poseable then the static AoBR boy models, making it easier to attach bulky weapon arms.
