i'm pretty sure you get to re-roll one time on your 'to hit' roll, but do you get to re-roll the 'to wound' roll once as well????
and another question..
why doesn't anybody use it? i'm guessing because it's not worth it the points, putting it on a sybarite or a lord cuz it's only re-rolling of the 1/2 or whatever amount of shots, most liekely 1 shot from a pistol ... and isn't really worht 10 points... only if you could give soul seeker ammo to dl warriors or even a whole squad :wub: that'd be so god...
but just answer me, am i right about what i've said?

Yeah, it's largely useless as it stands. I reworked it at one point, and I don't think it's too bad. In my version of it allowed it as a squad upgrade and it also extended to Splinter Cannons. It cost 3/7 pts, 3 pts for basic splinter weaponry with 7 points for the Cannons. So a 10 man warrior squad with two Splinter Cannons and SSA would cost about 140 points, but would be much more potent against lower armor armies or certain armies like Alaitoc.
I like to use it on Hemunculi weapons, but it hardly is worth it. I could see perhaps using it on a sybarite with a terrorfex.
Or was it that the ammo can only be used in splinter weapons.....
I think it only works with splinter rifles and pistols, hence the uselessness.
