Welcome to Librarium Online!
im trying to make sense of dirty looking rusty necrons. if you paint rust on your necrons tell me why and dont say its fluffy because its not really,
from what ive gathered the necrons have like a damage repair system (hence the WBB rule) and well......
RUST IS DAMAGE.. so they would be repairing the rusty part of them and why they were rusted in the first place makes no sense as they are made of an alloy which is corrosion resistant..
please if anyone can give me a reason as to why a rusty necron would look good, let alone make sense.. tell me
dont mean to sound mean about it or *****ed off but honestly im sick of seeing rust

If you don't like rust, get some WD-40. Otherwise let other people go with the paint schemes they like.
The necrons have been asleep for millions of years, well before mankind had even emerged. Some of them weren't in their stasis chambers, thus over time even the living metal they are made of would deteriorate.
If you do like the look, don't paint your that way, it's that easy.
