Hey Everyone
Starting Orks next coz they seem like fun and are pretty much the opposite of my very very serious Witch Hunters army.
Can't wait to use pathetic runts as mine clearers etc...
Just wondering if you can get a big box of plastic Gretchins or do I have to buy them in metal. Seems awfully expensive if I do...
The metal grots look rad though

the only way you are going to find plastic grots is on ebay or from someone who has been playing a looong while. they dont make them anymore and that is okay cause the look like crap.
so yes, metal is your only choice...if you want the new ones(they are cool looking though)
but hey, i've got more grots that i need and i'd say the 40% of them are the old style grots. so ultimatly it doesnt matter cause there cannon fodder anyway!

Lots of people use Fantasy Gobos and Night Gobos. Just make sure to put em on round bases, and maybe chage their spears into grot blastas

My grots are nightgoblins with guns. And the occasional ork head thrown on there, just to be weird. ^_^

Thanks for the ideas everyone.
Hey Sandhawk, I was thinking of using night gobbos coz they look cool, but don't they have shields? How did you give them guns?

You can leave the shields on them. But to make the guns cut the spear of the hands, and put on cut down sluggas or lusguns (weedy) or any other small pistol type guns you may have from other models.

You'll definitely be able to find some spare Ork gun arms (slugga arms from shoota boyz or shoota arms from slugga boyz). And the Gnoblars look like they make great grotz. But what I like the look of is the Red Gobbo to use for something (but what? maybe a Mek  )

Looking at the detailing of the Gnoblars for OK. I think they are going to be pewter not plastic. But if they are plastic then I will finally be able to live my dream of 6 troop choose 30 gretchin army. YES!!! It will never win a game but out horde a Gretchin army. I dare you.
