I was reading Akumakaji's topic "Two Funny Lists I Want To Try Once" see here and i noticed the names that they had for DE units. raiders were shadowbarges, wyverns were ravagers and wyches had some weird name too. Does anyone know any other cooler names for DE? (i hate heamonculi)

Honestly, you could take any of the units and create a new name for them in any language. A Haemonculus could be dubbed Schmerzgeber which would translate to Pain Giver, and if you're looking for a new English name, you can just create any you want that fits the type of character it is.

Ok, since I somehow started this topic with my typo, I will gladly skim trough my DE codex and give you the german names for everything ^^
Odly I always asked myself why they named the ravager wyvern in Germany, ravager always soundet cooler in my ears ... but you guys just might prove me wrong

Wyches = Hagashîn
Scourges = Harpyen (Harpies)
Ravager = Wyvern
Raider = Shadowbarge
Blaster = Schattenkatapult (Shadowcaster or Shadowthrower like in Stonethrower)
Destructor = Toxin-Evaporator
Desintegrator = Schattenkanone (Shadowcanon)
Splinterrifle = Splitterkatapult (Splintercaster or Splinterthrower as above)
Stinger = Toxin-Nadler (Toxin-Needler)
Crucible of Malediction = Urne der verdammten Seelen (Urn of damned Souls)

Thats all I can find, I hope this entertains you guys

Could Hagashin be related to 'Hashashin' in some way?

Hmm, seems like an even spread as far as good names go.

For the Germans: Wyvern, Urn of Damned Souls, Shadowcaster, and Splintercaster.

For the English (and derivatives thereof ): Wyches, Raiders and Destructors.

The rest are all about as good as each other.

A wyvern is actually a beast of mytology. Its a kind of dragon with wings as I recall. And also harpies are half men half birdlike creatures but those are just things Ifetched up while studying mytologie.

However with that statement out of the way, I would say listen to ArchonBjorn. He has a really good tendency to not say stupid things and give bad advice.
