Okay, it says in the Eldar codex that any Heavy Weapon mounted on the Platform becomes a move and fire weapon. Do they mean Assualt Weapon? I.e you get to move, fire, assault - and still get your charge bonus. Normally I wouldn't care, but if they don't count as an AW that would make the Guardians AWs useles.
Come on guys some one has to know this <_< ...
I wouldn't think you would get you're charge bonus, im pretty shady on the new rules but I don't think you get +1 attacks if you charge in the same turn you shoot.
When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain you would not understand
This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb.
Last I checked you could still assault with assault weapons and get your +1...
Since Guardian Hvy Wpn Platforms can move and shoot heavy weapons, they are able to assault after firing said weapons as well. This is because the unit doesn't need to remain stationary to fire the Hvy Weapon, which is what usually prohibits models shooting Hvy Wpns from charging.
Oh, and You do get the bonus from charging... Losing the bonus was a Trial Rule which didn't make it into the 4thEd.
"The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."
