Are reavers able to move the extra 6" in the assault phase like eldar jetbikes? I was looking at some tables in the back of the book that classify each unit for each army and reavers were just listed as jet bikes not eldar jetbikes. I am guessing they are not allowed this rule. Anyone else hear different?

Honestly, I'd say "Yes!" simply because they technically -are- Eldar jetbikes, and I haven't seen any rules saying that they are not (as they are Eldar). Maybe a FAQ answers this?

Could you be a little more specific, maybe list a source? A single person just saying "no" about rules isn't exactly smart to follow.

Unless there is a FAQ or update from GW clarifying this (and I haven't trolled through anything more than the BBB 3rd Ed and DE Codex FAQ 4.0) then Reaver bikes can do just what thier description says. And there is no mention of a special +6" move in the assault phase.

'Fluff' logic might dictate that eldar's have jet bikes, and dark eldar have jet bikes so they must be the same technology. But you have to be able to point to it in print to use it in a game.

As always I'm going to say they do. There are reasons for this: 1)Dark Eldar may be dark but they're still Eldar, 2)In the Codex it says it works the same way as an Eldar jetbike, 3)And finally I'd rather have it than not have it  .

I don't really mind, just trying to get this solved. Do normal Eldar jetbikes have it in their special rules? I read it in the Rulebook, and it doesn't specify. A 24" turbo boost is good enough to get my bikes around, so hey.

i am pretty sure they do, it says they function just like their eldar counterpart so....

As stated, it's printed in the Codex that they operate just like normal Eldar jetbikes (with the following special rules...).

Reaver jetbikes are not Eldar jetbikes. That simple.

Want proof? Check the appendix in the back of the BGB with unit listings - RJBs are definitely not EJBs.
