Welcome to Librarium Online!
well, space marines and chaos git their codexes, so where the hell is everyone elses. Has GW released any info. on any new codexes, and if so what did they say theyd change?
i know one thing gw should change, make the avatar have a 4+ invulnuable saving throw. then he'll be like EVERY OTHER DEAMON
ive got an iyanden army myself, and im curious to see if they change any rules for the craftworlds. i know that ulthwe have rules in the eye of terror codex right?
well in any case, post any info or rumors based on the eldar codex or anyother codex here.
Well, at the time the Eldar Codex came out, all Daemons had 5+ saves, so stop complaining.i know one thing gw should change, make the avatar have a 4+ invulnuable saving throw. then he'll be like EVERY OTHER DEAMONI you look around a bit, you would have found the answer yourself. I believe it's Eldar, Tyranids or Xeno Hunters next.well, space marines and chaos git their codexes, so where the hell is everyone elses. Has GW released any info. on any new codexes, and if so what did they say theyd change? They might change if there is a drastic change to their focus units. (eg. If Jetbikes got a full makeover, then Saim-Hann rules might change.) Also, the Ulthwe list in the Eye of Terror Codex is not an update of the current Ulthwe rules. Both lists are valid.ive got an iyanden army myself, and im curious to see if they change any rules for the craftworlds. i know that ulthwe have rules in the eye of terror codex right?
You cannot win, for to fight us is to give us power.
fair enough i guess, i played for about 2 years in from 1998-2000 and i stopped playing till now. so i picked the game up again to find out that there is an update to the rules, and that armies were getting new codexes. so i wasnt sure. thanks for the info though
Welcome back to Warhammer
A lot has changed since tht last time you plated. Make sure you go over the FAQ for each Codex found at the GW website. It adresses some changes for each army since 4th Edition came out.
And don't worry about people giving you attitude about posting. These forums seem a bit unforgiving when it comes to asking questions. I'm glad to see that you took the highroad and chose not to get upset as a lot of people do when you get a response simliar to what you just got.
Keep in mind that a lot of people like to see you use the search feature before posting a question and people like smack ya around if they think you may be complaining even when you not.
I just started a Alatoc army myself. PM me if you have an Eldar or Tyranid questions.
i've heard tyranids are next, "officially" that is, but i really hope it is eldar. besides, why work on a wave serpent, be like "alright we are done with eldar for now, lets do 'nids." wow that would be genius, and i think that when they work on one army, that they would stay on that one and focus on nothing else, and that is what i would expect, so that is why i think ELDAR is what codex will be worked on.
dasssss ist ein scheiss kopffffff!
if they do either i'll be happy. but i'd rather have a nids codex. anyway, now you mention it, there's already new genstealers, carnifex, raveners and lictors for the nids...
where did you find that?
dasssss ist ein scheiss kopffffff!
I spoke to my local GW store manager today and he said that the updates will be in the following order:
Order of Xenos (he thought April)
The impression I got was that Eldar will be updated around the same time next year that Space Marines were this year (so November then).
He also mentioned that GW will be launching a game like Warmaster set in the Lord of the Rings universe. We're calling it Hobbitmaster.
I dont wanna buy the big blue eldar codex then find out they release another one -_-
Information says that the Craftworld Codex is supplemental to the Codex: Eldar. Does this mean that I need to get both the Codex: Eldar and the Craftworld Codex?
