Where is a list of points that a unit gives? Can someone please explain the point-system -_- to me?
Ok, go to a specefic unit you want, say guardians for example, there should be a box atfer the unit name that say's a number, the guardians should be "8" points. The box should be labelled "points"
When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain you would not understand
This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb.
Theres a box under the name and on the very far right to the box is the # of pnts it is.

ok well the point system is each unit, weapon, or upgrade costs a certain amount of points. when you have a battle the number of points you can use is specified. for example, in a 1500 point game you can only have as many troops, weapons, etc., that equal about 1500 points.
When I kick KHORNE'S butt I stick the remains on a KOB and eat them...
Oh man my signature sucks...
So for 10 guardians you do 8x10 = 80. If you wanted them to have a weapon you would add on say XXpts for a heavy weapon. That makes 80 + XX points.
Thanks, didn't know i had to add weapon points too.Originally posted by Andaah@Nov 28 2004, 17:31

Gah, each person in the unit will come with weapons already (eg guardian defenders are armed with shuriken catapults, but usually you can add some extra weapons if you pay extra points (hence the +xx)
Everything you have been told is a lie!
The heavy weapons points cost for the guardians can be found under their stats bar in the codex eg 35pts for Bright lance, 50pts for eldar missile launcher etc
He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day!
