I've got my new ork army ( 1000 pt ) and I'm gonna be fighting eldar, IG, and Necron. And im not sure how i should go about fighting in these games. I'm mainly worried about the eldar, others i think i can figure out. Do any of you have advice on fighting a Vanilla eldar force? should i try and rush in quickly on trukks? should i mass boyz and slog it in?
Also if you could hook me up with a link to a site with good ork tactics, if you have one (Y)
big shootas sloud prove to be usefull, also charge them before they charge you.
a looted tank would be usefull for taking out nasty things
Big shootas are good against almost anything, but they are very effective against IG and Eldar. With orks, everything counts in large amounts, so if you load up on BS, you will kill necrons, even with their high armor save.
I would caution you against making a race specific tuned list, a balanced army list that can take on all comers is almost always preferable, and a lot more fun to play.
A solid ork list, regardless of opponent, starts with a couple of big mobs. Add a small HQ (warboss only), a couple of fast choices, and a couple of heavies, and there you go.
-yep u should definetly try to balance your army...
but dont forget Scorchas (komby skorcha also)
SCORCH THEM PUNY ELDAR!!! WAAAGH!!!
-them puny weak eldar with their puny armor cannot even hide when they get scorched-
BOSS! BOSS! Lets shoot at anyfing thats not green!
DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA!
