Welcome to Librarium Online!
Can you still use Wierdboyz from the army list in the back of the 3rd edition rulebook, or do you have to have some sort of special army like feral orks?
I wanna make a wierdboy to zap my foes with...
Right now the only ork army that has access to wierdboyz is the feral orks. I have a sneaking suspicion though, that with the new revamping of psykers in 4th edition that orks will get wierdboyz in their new codex....whenever that comes out.
The enemies of the Emperor fear many things. They fear discovery, defeat, despair and death. Yet there is one thing they fear above all others. They fear the wrath of the Space Marines!
One of my most favourite thing about orks in second edition was the weirdboyz. the whole fluff about them is great. Orks which live by themselves away from the rest of the camp in a hut on huge brass legs to channel the physic energy away from him. If we can use them in the new codex it would make my decade.
Not to mention the fun it would bring back
What excatly do they do? i am a new player and dont know anything befor 4th
News rules for them are in the Feral Ork list, Chapter Approved 2003 or 2004. Also they were in the 3rd Ed BBB if i remember.
Basicly an ork (nob?) with some cool psychic abilities, wargear, and fluff.
They were deathly afraid of battle (strange for an ork ) because the huge physic waagh generated by the thousands of orks around them would overwhelm their brain. They had to be herded to a fight and carried brass rods to try and earth the physic powers. This unfortunaly would not work sometimes and their head would explode. On the plus side it might kill some of the enemy or orks <_<
