Ok, I've got my monoposed DE army and it's pretty unattractive. Not totally my fault, yes the painting isn't the greatest but it's mainly the identical poses.
Guess what I'd like to discuss is conversion ideas. I'll be giving away some of my DE to my little bro on christmas and hopefully getting some more Warriors in return. Basically what I want to do is put together a fully converted 500 pt. army.
Where I draw a blank is how to convert them because, let's face it, DE are extremely hard to convert, as pposed to Marines. Basically the only Ideas I've got so far are for my sniper squads they can be kneeling and in camolflogue, or the sniper squads using dead imperial guard bodies to lie infront of them as if they're seeking cover behind them.
How can you Change Raider? I've draw a complete blank on changing raider to make the look both cool, and semi fluff fulfilling.
Oh yeah, commander carrying around dead IG as shield, chalked full of bullet holes and bleeding profusely from bullets and blades. (probably use Urien's head because he'd look like he's enjoying it).
You can put things like skulls chains et on your raiders or you make blades at the edges of them so when they will fly past there victims they get chopped into 2 pieces ^^.
A thing to make them more dynamic is to cut the part behind the knee.
if that is your knee cut them like.
Its bit confusing I know but I dont know how its called. the place were you bend your knees and f your kneecap is on the front the back of the knee. Make a litlle cut and bend it a biit this will look more like he is running.
However with that statement out of the way, I would say listen to ArchonBjorn. He has a really good tendency to not say stupid things and give bad advice.Learn from yesterday.

Hope for tomorrow
The spure you need for chains is the chaos spiky bitz spure.
Dark Eldar: The Kabal Of the Black Heart: Bloody Claw division.
Black Legion: Division 666
Vampire Counts Von Castein Bloodline: w/l/t
The best answer is to go to other models.
I put a Lord on a Skyboard using the Dark Elf Sorceress on a Cold One mini. All you'll need to do is file the pommel from the saddle down so it doesn't look like she's sporting a woody.
Also use the Dark Elf Witches for your Wyches. Glue a Spinter pistol in a holster from a Warrior sprue or cut a hand and swap it out.
