ok, well my friend took no consideration for his army and recieved an old one eye and a red terror without anything else in his army. now that has been ammended with a legal army and eventually the battleforce for chrissie. the strange thing was that he asked me for my bloodthirster wings. the next week i saw a red terror with the bloodthirster wings infront of it (they were inverted but somehow looked natural) and i got to say it looked bloody awesone, although a bit small for a tyrant it is acceptable asd a wysiwig model,, the only problem is the base as he only had a 40mm base and it is now ammended with a shoddy piece of cardboard and i was wondering if anyone else have noticed that the really large base (used on the new heavy cadian weapons, are the same size as the carnifex's but have the 60 degree elevation edge like 40mm) so we're waiting to buy one of them as it should support the massive wings, what is your oppinion on its use, by the way it no longer haS any scything talkons and hs a venom cannon and wings, so ey?

well it says in the codex that you cant change the bioweapons on the Red Terror or give it any upgrades so if it still going to be a red terror it MUST have two sets of scything talons and it cant have wings

Well, Tyranids are evolving all the time, and so long as it's obvious what the "red tyrant" is armed with, then it should be perfectly legal. It would look quite cool, also.
