i feel stupid but what does tmc mean something montrous creature
Their number is legion, their name is death
Tyranid Monstrous Creature, something that took me a while to figure out as well, about the same rules as a monstrous creature, but a few minor differences I believe.
As said, it stands for Tyranid Monstrous Creature.
Though the differences with normal MCs aren't exactly minor, IMO... ^_^
The rules for them can be found on page 6 of the Tyranid Codex, right column, "Tyranid Monstrous Creatures".
Also note that the 4thEd Tyranid FAQ states that they are also MCs as defined in the 4thEd rulebook, and thus use the 4thEd MC rules as well.
"The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."
