on page 13 of the tau codex bottom left hand corner there is a picture of a barracuda (i think) with these tri-barrel looking guns on the end of the wings, now i dont know much about tau but i me and my mate wanted to know what they are seen as he wants some for his army...
does anyone know what they are or were they just concept art for some other weapon....

i have chapter approved 2004. the wingtip weapons are burst cannons.

I don't know for sure but I would have thought the guns on the wings are the 'long-barrelled burst cannon' FW invented. I know that's what they put on the Orca, and it makes more sense for a flyer.
Yep no point in havin a flyer whos guns are to short to hit whatevers below it.
