    Stormshark Gunship:

    (Counts as a Fast Attack choice in the force organization chart.)

    Points Armour: Front Side Back BS
    170 12 12 12 4

    Type: Tank, Skimmer, Fast
    Crew: 3 Kor'vre
    Weapons: Burst Cannon, Twin-Linked Plasma Rifles, Twin-Linked Fusion Blasters
    Options:
    The Stormshark is always fitted with 2 seeker missiles and
    May never take Gun Drones, Multi Trackers or Targeting Array

    The Kor'vre pilot may be promoted to Kor'el at +20 points and may then select
    Equipment from the vehicle armory. If this option is taken the Stormshark counts as
    a HQ choice in the force organization chart and has a Ballistic Skill of 5 when firing its
    Burst Cannon.

    Special Rules:

    Multiple Gunners: The Stormshark may always fire its Fusion Blasters and Plasma
    Rifles.

    Battle Engines: The Stormshark may choose to use the Battle Engines to
    move an extra 9 inches on a roll of a 3+ on D6. If this option is taken the
    Stormshark may not fire its burst cannon

    Prized Vehicles: Stormsharks may be fitted with a Shield Generator at +40 points

    no it doesnt. first of all it should be heavy support like all other tanks but i guess you needed more firepower that way you can have crisis suits, broadsides and your skimmer. BS5 are you insane? can always fire all its guns give me a break. how many points was that little upgrade.. and not like bolters or anything meltas and plasmas..... wow. give a skimmer an invul save..... no not balanced. i wouldnt allow it though a pic of your conversion would be cool.

    I might up the points cost

    Here is one of my VDR&#39;s:

    Blacktip Scout Carrier

    Tank Skimmer Normal

    Crew: Pathfinders

    Points:171 Front:11 Side10: Rear10 BS:4

    Multi-Tracker, Decoy Launcher, Landing Gear

    Transport Option for Pathfinders instead of Devilfish. Carries 6 Models.

    Weapons: Ion Cannon and 2 Seeker Missiles.

    May not take more Seeker Missiles.

    I would drop the ion cannon. I dont think any transport ship should have a cannon on it. They will carry a defensive weapon such as the new trial vehicle rules indicate. Something like 2 twin linked burst cannons or twin linked pulse rifles. Defensive weapons are traditionally used on vehicles like this not offensive cannon weapons.

    attack is the best form of defence. ps whre can i get the tau vdr rules from (not asking for copyrighted stuff mods)

    Army Builder from http://www.wolflair.com/index.php has the VDR in the Warhammer 40K ver 3 data files.

    Also, The Tau VDR was in, I believe, the August 2002 White Dwarf.

    24 fire fire warriors or 3 crisis suits


    its kind of like land raider but weaker armor in the back and its has more weapons

    wow you guys really have to read the VDR rules... armour 14 on a skimmer transport is out of hand. 12 armour should be tops. 200 points is way cheep aswell.
