Welcome to Librarium Online!
Thanks, now I found out more can someone point me to somewhere that isnt that GW FAQ that gives rule clarifactions but another one that can dispell alot of dark rule areas. There was a quote somewhere back there that I was shown and I thought that that was the end of the Necron T6 lord but then theres people saying that its not true, where did you fing these things out.
Thanks in the first place Mad Hatter.
Since when has it not counted towards the instant kill limit? Last time I checked it says very clearly in the codex that it does. Also there have been several letters to the GW help desk concering this question that can be found at CSG that all give the same answer. And finally, to my knowledge there have been NO chapter approved or FAQ's released that say differently.
For 30 points (about the same cost as a whole space marine biker) I better get more than just jetbike movement.
I've red it somewhere in a FAQ or something. I will recheck to make sure. Thanks.
ok with the rules that talk about bikes in the 40k rulebook it says the +1 to toughness given by the bike doesn't effect instant death. That is true in all cases except for the necron lord whose destroyer body lets him move like a jet bike but he gets the +1 to toughness and there for is immune to instant death. that plus one is counted to instant death.
I hope that helps
The original post is a bit unclear for me, but if we're talking putting a Lord on a Destroyer body to get the +1 toughness, it's stated in the wargear section for the destroyer body entry (in at least the 2nd printing edition) that this will make him T6 and unable to be insta-killed.

BetaMaster please look at the post dates when you respond to a thread. it is in the top left corner of the post. this thread is 5 years old and is best left to sit and stagnate in the past. This is something we've been having trouble with lately, and attentiveness to it would help solve that issue.
Also the "Other Threads similar to this topic" should be avoided at all costs, they don't take date of posts into their equations.
