It depends if your army is fitted to deal with the army your facing. A Shuriken Cannon filled army would tear apart Imperial Guard, for example, but would have great difficulty with Space Marines.

I also think it depends on the type of army. I don't collect eldar personally, but I have a friend whos eldar army is mostly rangers and pathfinders, so his army tends to have difficulty against armies like imperial guard, which usually contain lots of models and have several tanks.

When I played eldar I had serious trouble with Tau. The Fire Warriors blast you to bits, while your guardians still are two turns from shuriken range, and their battlesuits work in a similar way to your Vypers, popping out busting tanks popping back. Broadsides with two shield drones need to be wounded at least three times by bright lances before they die.

You mean alaitoc. Anyway lets act liek it is a vanilla eldar army and with a allround list. In that case dark eldar get my vote or eldar the hardest part of beating a army is your own or one that comes close to it.

However with that statement out of the way, I would say listen to ArchonBjorn. He has a really good tendency to not say stupid things and give bad advice.

I think that that is a very good point and is true for any army

Well, that depends on what you mean by balanced, which units, etc. Also, if its the same army fighting the same army, whoever has the better terrain, or is the better player should win. Also, not true that it's hardest to fight your own, if your readdy for it, you'll have no problems.

Eldar can be tooled up to meet any army, but using YOUR army, which one is most difficult?

I'd say Daemonhunters are really hard when playing Ulthwé, since those psycannons remove saves and they can deep strike with their knights.
