Cut and pasted from a previous post:

I constucted mine out of foam core board (art supply stuff, paper sheets with a core of foam). GW used to have sprues for Gorka-Morka that had tank tracks, wheels, armor plates and such. I am not sure they are still available. I also used Doll eyes (found at craft stores). When glued on and painted, they look like huge rivets. An example of the doll eyes can be seen on the building pic I posted here: http://gallery.librarium-online.com/detail...php?image_id=63

HishamEQ, that's about bunkers not battlewagons .
I don't have one myself (and won't be getting one either as I play Feral) but I'd buy a few imperial vehicles and have fun with it! Base would probably be a Land Raider, combined with a Leman Russ. That should be enough to build a cool looking battlewagon. Problem is that this isn't too cheap either as you buy the most expensive GW tank plus at least one other tank.

Yes sir, I realize the original poster was asking how folks made up their battle wagons. However I used doll eyes as 'rivets' for my model terrain.

I have now uploaded an image of my battlewagon. The gun on top is from a 1/35 scale howitzer.

My battlewagons are made out of styro-foam [Poly-styrene foam ] covered in card board [Thin card ]. Small wire nails used as rivets to hold it all together.
Odd bits from GW thrown on where they look good, glyph plates from Forge World are great for adding some Orky detail too.
As soon as I get some good pictures I'll post em.
