Fortune may be the best Pshycic power that Eldar have ever had.
It is great when it comes to close combat battles cause he can just keep re rolling armour saves
like when i ws playing my brothers friend he had this really powerful Sisters Of battle piece and if i didnt stop it it would of eaten through my Rangers/ Pathfinders so i held it up in close range combat with my farseer and it kept wounding me but i just kept making armour saves and we were playing take and hold so i kept him in close range combat from turn 2 and i won
Check it out.
Its new but it will grow if people join.
Fortune is indeed pretty sweet, but I find that my Farseer is not often in a position to use it. (It's probably just the way I play, I leave him behind casting Guide on the artillery) If you take your Farseer into the fray, though, Fortune is one of those psychic powers that can make its points back very quickly.
Interesting that you use it in an Alaitoc force. The Ranger force is very de-centralized and there aren't usually very many Fortune-able units, units that are worth Fortuning.
I would imagine that the Mind War/Eldritch Storm combination of powers would be very effective for disrupting the enemy armor and damaging the hand-to-hand monsters, but that's just me.

Well fortune has saved my ass dozens of batlles. But that is mainly because I play ulthwe and I got a 5 farseer council (4 mindwars 1 fortune) just ad the basic warlocks give embolden enhance augment and add like 4 more as a meatshield. Then just walk towards your enemy they need to decide either ignoring my seer council and get choppedi n cc later or shoot at them but the rest of the army is unharmed .
However with that statement out of the way, I would say listen to ArchonBjorn. He has a really good tendency to not say stupid things and give bad advice.Learn from yesterday.

A gift from the Gods it is indeed, especially for seer councils, although it is put to good use in any Eldar army on a squad of aspect warroirs (specially scorpions) or on concealed guardians. If you do it on scorpions in a serpent then they probaby wont get and they'll be almost invincible in combat (as long as you avoid power weapons).
I use it with 3 farseers, walking up the field casting it on concealed guardian squads (2). It is amazing when ordnance only manages to kill a couple guardians per shot. Not such a great thing when it comes to flamers though... Ulthwe's most dreaded weapon.
Not true. I would say Incinerator, because it's the the most powerful flamer, even ignroing the Seer Council's saves. Not such a great thing when it comes to flamers though... Ulthwe's most dreaded weapon.
You cannot win, for to fight us is to give us power.
I didn't think i needed to specify. I meant all types of flamers. I would disagree though, I would say the hellhound's (IG) flamer is more deadly. It has a 24" range and is S6, so it can shoot you probably three times as many times as the incinerator in a regular game.
You have not seen evil until you watch a farseer walking up behind a harlie wraithlord, casting Fortune all the way.....

Close, but no. Farseers cast fortune. If taken as an independent character then the farseer can join the dark reapers. If not, he can still cast it on them if within 6"
