Look for a new codex in 2006. Jan-Feb. That is all.
Umm...you know, I really doubt it.Originally posted by Enforcer@Jan 26 2005, 22:29

Why, you ask?
1) Eldar, Tyranids, and countless others will be getting a revamp WAY before Tau.
2) Tau are a fairly new race. They will be one of the last getting a new codex (with Necrons right there with them).
I really don't think so.
I just want you to know that from this post you have wasted about 3 seconds of my life. I will never get those 3 seconds back. So I ask you this, what was the point of this post. In all honesty why would you post something so retared it makes me angry.
Adapt or die: Live with it or die by it.
"Gork save our crazy green,
keep all da Grot's obscene,
Gork save da green,
Give us stunties to kill,
And uumie's blood ta spill,
So we can smash and hii-iii-iit,
'Til we see the true giiiiiiiiit."
Da stunties turn to flee,
and fills dere boots wiv wee,
when we charge in.
Dere beards will turn to white,
dere heroes filled wiv fright,
Dem trousers smell of shiii-iii-iiite,
and our Gork will griiiiiiin."

Don't, because it won't be there.
Why? Why did you get up my hopes? Anyway, if you were right, nobody's gonna' believe you. How about you prove it to us? (I'd like to see THIS)
The only thing that is stopping you from being what you can be is what you think other people think about you.
If you could say one thing to the world, what would it be?
The Tau codex might be out earlyer than people think, as the new set of codices...codexes...codexi...err...army books arnt major rewrights like they where for the 3rd edition.
It's not completly impossible... Tau is actually one of the armys that need some improvement. <_<
I guess Enforcer has some information which he didn't spit out, it cant take that much time to rewrite a codex. I believe him. They're probably rewrighting most of them now, making up new models rewls and improvmennts. Then they compare all of the new armys to see if they are well balanced.
I don't think Enforcer just guessed a date... ^_^
Lets just hope he's right.
Remember remember the fifth of November... Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason... Should ever be forgot...- = Always watching = -
Tau need improvements?
Tau need improvements only because of the new rules. For example, the battlesuits could move in the assault phase, a unique thing. No longer. Now all jumpacks can move 6" in the assault phase. Result... a hopefully decreased points cost for a battlesuit.
Can't think of any more at the moment, but the Tau codex needs improvements. Its codex, and codices , NOT ARMY BOOK. Sorry, that just gets kinda annoying.the new set of codices...codexes...codexi...err...army books

Erm...not all Jump Packs get the guaranteed 6" assault move; that rule is still specific to Jet Packs (which are a subtype of Jump Packs). Basically, they took the Tau Jetpack rule and made it into a generic Jetpack rule. However, the Tau are still the only race that has any Jetpacks, so the ability (aside from the close analogue of the Eldar Jet Bike) is still unique to just the Tau.
Don't worry, assault marines don't get the 6" assault move.
