Ok here goes. I'm just starting a speed freaks army, solely for the purpose of getting my boyz into the fray nice and early. The problem is, that in order to mount my boyz in a wartrukk, they need to be trukk boyz. Easy enough? Not really, trukk boy mobs are restricted to 5-10 models a piece. Say i have thirty boyz, which turns into 3 mobs of trukk boys, which takes up all my fast attack choices... that blows. Anyway, I remeber hearing somewhere that a speed freaks or kult of speed army ( one or the other ) can use trukk boys as troop choices. If that were true it'd be quite convenient. So ... someone tell me if this is true. Or just post something.

Sorry brother but rules posts are usually bad, GW and most forums frown on that sort of thing.
You need both the Ork and Armegeddon codexs to play KOS. You can usually pick them both up for cheap on E-Bay.
Good luck.

trust me, you will want to buy the codex. if you want to look at the rules for speed freeks without buying the codex just browse through it at your local gwstore. I hope i dont get slapped for this, but since it is such a little rule, yes trukk boyz are a troop choice, not a fast attack choice. I wont say any more through fear of bringing on the wrath of the gods-...err, mods.

It does hurt ot buy the Armaggedon codex for the four or five pages of speed freaks rules, but they are a lot of fun to play! Smaller mobs is a weak point for them, but the speed with which they can cover a board (if they don't get blown up) is amazing. Equal to an eldar army, as long as they have wheels.
