I was taking a quick look at the craftworld codex. All Iyanden really let's you do is it switches around the choice types. So, you can take the wraiths as troops, So what? If you wanted 6 units of wraithguard then fine, but you don't really. Not that there's anything wrong with wraithguard. What you really want are the broken, broken wraith lords of doom. And......you can't take more wraithlords than you have wraith guard. So......if you max it out, aren't you still left with 3 units of wraithguard and 3 Wraith Lords? Isn't that the same as you could have in a normal eldar army?

So............why play Iyanden? What's the point.

Well this way you can have three wraithlords and have more heavy support and not really be considered cheesy because thats more than half your army. But you can ussually smash some little boogers in with the mix of huge guys.

Slowly will start playing: Iyanden, and Chaos.

Technically, you can have six Wraithlords...

    3x as Troops
    3x Harlequin allies

And, Prometheus, isn't that what Biel-Tan does? Just switch around the choices. It gives you a different type of army to play, that if used well you can do very well with it.

And some people do want to have 6 Wraithguard squads..

Well, I don't really know. I'm new to Eldar, I'm just considering starting an Eldar army, I use Tau now.

Harlequin allies? How does that work? And couldn't you do it with reg Eldar anyway? So the point is, you can have 6 Wraith Guard, but you don't need Iyanden to do so.

    Nope.

Wraithguard, unless I'm mistaken, are Elites. Can only take 3 Elites choices, and you generally want to have Scorpions/Banshees instead.

The Harlequins codex can be downloaded from the Games Workshop website in the Eldar section. I'd definitely recommend downloading it just for the coolness factor.

Thats true but i was just naming one scanario. You could have like mostly wraith guards in a 800 point list which i personally think is cool to be able to do what they can do. So basically play them if your favorite types of eldar are wraithlords and wraithguards.

I just read through the Harlequin list, I don't thin it let's you take Wraitlords.

So, there's no way to have more than 3 wraithlords, even with Iyanden.

Actually, yes, they can take Wraithlords (An addition after the codex):

    Harlequin Wraithlord

Um, that look very official to me. 'Specially when the entry was talking about harlequin soulgems.......when the official codex explicitly said they don't carry any.

I have seen at least 3 different sets of rules for the harlie wraithlord, none of them official. Just make your own.
