A few of you on the necron forum have said that the pacticle projector will count as a second cc weapon, effectively cancelling out the loss from geting it in the first place. I think this is total bs, as why would it say it is lost if that happens? And, as with wraiths, it would say it counts as a second ccw in the codex if it actually did count as a second ccw. What do the rest of you out there in internet land think of this? :hmm:
the wraiths extra attacks are part of their base stats, they do not get a bonus for 2 cc weapons.
The partical projector is not a cc weapon, and does not confer a 2 cc weapon bonus either.
I don't know where you got these ideas, I haven't seen anyone post these ideas recently.
Wednesday nights at GW (Ontario Mills in Ontario, CA)
4-7-05 - SoB 1200, S&D Omega, Opponent was new.
4-7-05 - ME! Chris beats me again with his space wolves (he is a good palyer without his eldar).
Those people are just saying that becuase it doesn't say it doesn't give you an extra cc attack. And it doesn't, you lose 1 attack if you get a part projecty thinger.
Back from a long adventure.
Check out a topic called 300 necrons in the army list section. I forgot the SN's of the people that were talking about it though.Originally posted by justinb67@Feb 6 2005, 22:39

Why would they make a Tomb Spyder with two claws that is the exact same price as one with the partical projector if it had the same amount of hth attacks.
That guy is trying to screw you over.
