a freind of mine wrote up a 1,000 point list, and in it, he included 3 jetbikes. from some stuff i read on here, i guess some of you would counsel against this. but why? i play tau and am starting DE, and eldar are famous for their jetbikes, like DE its like their signature model.
pasta mixed with a little death is a nummy treat for you and me!
I dunno about DE jetbikes, but Eldar ones are horrible. For around 3 points less you can get a space marine on a bike with better toughness, strength, WS, BS, slightly better guns, bettter Ld if you have a Grand Master on the opposite end of the field even. Now, what do eldar jetbikes get for all this? A jump move in the assault phase! Now you can move closer to the enemy so all their guns get in range and they can charge you, or you can move away! Now your opponent has to move a whole 6" to rapidfire you into oblivion!
