My friend is speculating that he is going to purchase an eldar cobra and revenant very soon, it doesnt suprise me because he has a chaos warhound he loves big models, he said he playtested the rules and in one turn he said he killed 18 marines and 2 rhino's, is this possible?, apparently the cobra has an ordanance weapon that is s10 ap1, and the revenant has all sorts of weapons and can assault and fight in close combat, can anyone help?

Im not sure but I do know that both models are vulnerable to D cannons and wraith cannons so if you ever play him stick 5 wraith guard in a serpent and go titan hunting lol.
He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day!
he plays alpha legion.
you could not let him use them... its a "with opponsnts permission" thing. whatever you do make sure you only let him use them in big games, such as 3000 points. then just bring lascannons or other regular anti tank stuff. these things are good but they're not invincible. i'd be wary of the revenant though. those things are blindingly quick and pack 2 of those massive pulsars- basically a brightlance on steroids- with a blast- at BS4- with multiple shots.
The Revenant Titan rules are online - you can check them out at www.forgeworld.co.uk. That should give you some insider knowledge. No idea on the Cobra though, sorry.
All the old Specialist Games resources are currently being uploaded at the Tactical Command forums, and you can find them here: http://www.sg.tacticalwargames.net/fanatic/.
It's not invincible, this is true, but it is a drop-dead-gorgeous model, nonetheless.
I played against it in a 3000-point Ulthwe vs. Necrons battle and it was destroyed in Turn 2 after being effectively crippled in Turn 1 under a whithering sheet of Gauss fire and covered from head to toe with Scarabs. The Pulsar shot that it did manage to get off was indeed davastating, though, as it wiped out an entire squad of Necron Warriors.
To be fair, though, it would have been a lot tougher to take down if every gun in the Necron list wasn't Gauss (the Lord did not have the Staff of Light)
I don't think it would do too well against the more heavy-weapon-oriented lists, such as the Iron Warriors *cough*nine Oblits*cough* or Imperial Guard. However, it would plough through most any balanced list.
