The Avatar or Seer Council should be next on your list. The Seer Council is mandatroy if you are playing Ulthwe, and the Avatar is good for some HTH power. Plus both these choices are metal, cost lots of points (and money ) so that could fill your desire for a small "blister" army. But remeber you must have the two sqauds of Blakc Guardians and Seer Council to play.

Ulthwe is not the army to play if you want a small army... seeing as how it would have the most models generally out of every craftworld with rules. Alatioc or Iyanden would have low model numbers if that is what you are looking for.
If you are intent on Ulthwe, one box of guardians and the seer council box are mandatory.

I know of a craftworld that specialises in rangers. (can't rmember name), they would be a good choice as the ranger models are sweet.

That would be Altaioc. Lots and Lots and lots and lots of snipers rifles. more than a KGB assanination squad after a US president. That is a lot of snipers. Did I say snipers?

    blister army?

    Thats Biel Tan, or Iyanden.

Alaitoc... cant rely on pure snipers.. too risky.. even though it may kill...

    1 Dire Avenger Squad
    1 Storm Guardian squad
1 Wave serpent (To transport the Banshees)

As far as I know you may take 1 aspect for every guardian squad you have so you need at least 2 squads. Its easy just do this:
Get 1 box of defender guardians.
Split them into 2 groups of 8.
    Buy 2 support weapon platforms.
Add 1 platform to every squad.
No you have a 10 man sized squad with a starcannon/brightlance or scatter laser. Believe me you will be glad with the support weapon platforms. ^^.

However with that statement out of the way, I would say listen to ArchonBjorn. He has a really good tendency to not say stupid things and give bad advice.

Rangers are nice, but unless you use them in a cunning plan, they are unlikely to get their points home again. Buy the guardian combo Archonbjorn told you about, cuz it really works wonders. Especially Utlhwé, cuz we have bs4 guardians

Dire Avengers are not worth their points IMO. The have great statlines and look great, but shooty troops with only 12" range are unlikely to shoot more than once before they get assaulted, and only their exarch (who you don¬īt even have) is worth his salt in cc.

Storm guardians are rarely worth taking, use defenders. Unless you plan to make the two flamer guardian + destructor warlock combo, dismounting from a falcon close to a large enemy squad :shifty:

Also, get more AP killers. A squad of reeapers or a BL for one of your weapon platforms would do you good. Try making an army-list of either 500 or 1000 poings, or a patrol list of 400 points, and post it in the army-list section of this forum.

    Welcome to Eldar ^_^
