I dont bond (talissera) my squads alot, do you guys ever do it? is it a waste of points as some people say?
The avatar is the emperor as a pimp. Well, i like it.
In a Mech list, it's not worth it.Originally posted by willysnow@Mar 1 2005, 06:39

In a static list, especially larger squads, it can be considered very much worth it.
In general, there are 3 ways to mitigate the negative effects of Leadership:
- Buy a Shas'ui
- Bring an Ethereal
I'd recommend picking one of those options from from that list. If you're really concerned about leadership issues I'd pick two out of the three. In general though, I think Bonding is the worst of the three options... so I usually go with the Shas'ui and/or and Ethereal.
Im a pretty good Tau player myself, but I dont really understand bonding, so ive never used it and my win loss record stands as, Wins 11, Ties 0, Losses 1.
loves the funeral for hearts.
I generally don't. I've just never really had a problem without it. But I can see how it would be useful.
Burn the land and boil the sea. You can't take the sky from me.
Member of the Canadian Clan, eh.
Mech Tau Cadre: 2000 points, needs paint and magnets.
Paladins of Avalon (SW):-1500 points, needs paint.
as the allcunning T0nkaTruckDriver mentioned the best way is the make one shas´ui. but i play mainly CC armys and i sometimes go without the shas´ui and go with ld 7.
bring a AUN and force them to fail well assaulted. then the enemy is behind my lines and is going to get their brains blown out!
In battles 1000 pts or less I bond everything. Every unit counts in those battles so I don't leave anything to chance. I also get the shas'ui for the ld 8. In Larger battles it varies for me on how I plan to use te army.
