Ok, this is really just a simple question that I failed to find an answer to in da codex; how many boyz can you squeeze in a wartrukk?
10. Grotz and squigs count as orks for this purpose too.
And Mega Armour only takes up one space.
The laws of physics regarding space do not apply to ork trucks thats why you can squash more orks than seem possible into the back of a GW truck.

Well.. I would guess that the boyz simply pile up on the trukk. Who cares it you can´t breathe, as long as you get to the fight quickly? But how do I do it in-game? Do I remove all but 3 models from the table, untill I disembark tha boyz?
You do the same as with every other transport: You place the unit transported into whatever part of the table where You usually place units that are on/in transports.
You do not pile them on the transport model... Open-topped vehicles have no special rules requiring the transported unit to be actually mounted on the vehicle.
Thus the normal secrecy regarding transports and their units applies even to open-topped vehicles... Your opponent can not see which trukk Your mega-upgraded Warboss and his Nobz are riding, just like opponent's playing SM can't know what the Rhino ahead of them actually contains until the opponent decides to disembark.
And a reminder to everyone: You of course must know exactly what each transport contains, and mark it down properly on Your army list! The rule of secrecy is NOT intended to allow one to cheat by conveniently switching the insides of transports whenever one of them gets destroyed. If Your opponent manages to destroy the vehicle transporting Your most dangerous unit, then tough luck for You since that unit is now footslogging through the battlefield, assuming it survived the destruction of their transport.
"The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."
Er,i dont know the new rules, but unless they specificly changed it GW said in a Q&A back in 3rd that you did indeed have to tell what is riding what in an open topped transport. If not, than my DE friend won alot of tournies with an unnessecary handicap
I agree you SHOULD tell your oponent what's in an opened topped transport (i ullay shopw MOST of the models in the truck anyways) but the new rules say you don't have to. Also i think GW is assumeing that every ork player will extend the beds on thier trucks b/c the model they put out can't even hold a few grots :glare:
What is dis signature nonsence?! dem stupid human zoggers are always trien to confuze us.
