Anyone have a link showing the rank decals and their hierarchy?
I don't think there is any... But what you could do, is to have a look in the codex for standard missions since the differentslots have unit type "decals" for such as HQ - which is the Ranks Shas'el to Shas'o etc.
Did that make sence to anyone?
Another thing you could do is to translate the text from the "water decals" you can use to style your units. If you are lucky, you might find some with the tranlation Shas'o...
Remember remember the fifth of November... Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason... Should ever be forgot...- = Always watching = -
For my own Cadre, we have utilized the Rank Structure outlined by the Codex and added our own colors to determine who is what on the field.
Shas'O = General = Red Shoulder Pad
Shas'El = Captain = Green Shoulder Pad
Shas'Vre = Lieutenant = Blue Shoulder Pad
Shas'Ui = Sergeant = White Shoulder Pad
Shas'La = Soldier = Normal Shoulder Pad (yellow for my army)
They are very easily identifiable on the field and helps me alot. Unfortunately, it also helps the enemy to target and destroy the command structure.
182nd Cadian Para Infantry Reg
E Company Commander
3rd Company, White Templars
Shas'O Dal'yth Shi'Or'es
IVth Dal'yth Hunter Cadre
That is a really good idea, but what about the things that don't have should pads? Pathfinders and battlesuits. Do you pain the helmet a different colour instead?
I color the helmets acording to rank.
Dark Red (Army Base Color): Shas'la
Dark Blue: Shas'vre
I also attach medals to the sides of the base of my models, to indicate which unit's earned MVPs.
If you're supposed to be a Goth, where were you when we sacked Rome?
I'm going with a smoke-and-fire where these are my color schemes:
HQ - black crisis with white joints, bits of red here and there
Stealth - black armor, dark red cloth
Crisis - red armor, black joints, bits of white here and there
Troops - (storm trooper-ish) white with black cloth
Troops devil-fish - white main, some black trim/panels, bits of red
Pathfinders - Grey armor, black cloth
Pathfinder devilfish - dark gray with black panels, or grey and black tiger stripes
Railheads - all black with red lines (very Tron looking)
