I wasnt sure whether to put this here or in painting, but here goes. Just a quick question, a friend has leant me some spare Tyranid sprues for me to decorate my army with heads and such, however not having the tyranid codex (and it being a bit unreasonable to expect me to buy one for this purpose) Im unsure of the paint job. Can a tyranid player inform me of which citadel paints I might buy to paint these Tyranid parts? (Before I go buy some uninformed and make em look crap).
with Tyarnids, it doesn't really matter how you paint the, try to paint them in the same way as a friend's nid army, his will provide interesting fluff for when your keeping campaigns
I would look for some browns or dark reds and a color to highlight with, for example a yellow or an orange.
If a tree falls in the woods and there's no one 'round to hear it is it still my fault.
Yeah, the nice thing with 'Nids is that You can choose to paint them pretty much any way You want! The Codex has around thirty different paint-scheme examples, not tied to any specific hivefleet... So You really are free to choose Your own. (Y)
"The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."
Heh, it doesnt even have to look good.
