How the bleeding hell do you deal with them?
I played the Breakthrough mission from the old rule book as the attacker, so I had to kill EVERY unit in the eldar army before random game length expired.
I killed everything of his by turn 6 apart from 2 warp spiders, and his falcon. The spiders were then torn up in cc, but the falcon remained invulnerable. I zzaped it, rokkited it (both from a b'wagon), and Kan cc'ed it, Kustom Mega blasta'd it, shoota'd the rear armour, Flash gitted the rear armour, and through my Warboss at it, but it wouldn't go down!
(btw at this stage I had lost 6 'Ard boyz, 5 grotz, 8 Flash gitz, 1 slugga boy and 1 Kan; i.e I was slaughtering him (1060 point battle))
So how do you deal with it?
The best plan is to go for it on turn 1. Its a skimmer, so you can penatrate it on turn 1, and it will go down a lot easier.
They are possible the hardest tank to kill in the game. At least if he'd given it all the upgrades.
yeah thats what I usually try, but Orks tebt to lack in the long range department, and the b'wagon with the best guns for the job was on the other side of the table (and moving 20 orks including warboss towards the eldar troops at 13" at turn...).
You need to roll 2d6 and pick the lowest on the glancing hit table, so I usually get 1's or 2's, which can be ignored on a 4+ GAH!!!
But I worked out, the enemy gets alot more nervous if you roll the 2d6 1 at a time.
Usually i don't worry about it too much, as my enemy can't hit a thing with it anyway, and its not the best counter-ork tank there is, but this senario required EVERY unit to be killed. So I lost the battle but only about 150 points worth of orks in a 1000 point game...
i rokkited my friend falcon and took it down rather easily then again i rolled a 5 and a 6 on pen table.
Obviously then your friend was silly enough not to put the holofields and spirit stone on it which make it nigh invulnerable....
Perhaps a looted vehicle might aid your killing it, something suitably anti-tank. A looted predator with loads of lascannons can fire 3 lascannon shots a turn, one of which is twin linked, so making BS2 not that bad. In a 1500 game it might not be a bad investment.

a looted russ has a much better chance of killing it first turn than a looted anihilator. 8 + 2d6 armor pen.
my friend useualy kills it with rokkits... when he kills it, which is a dissapointingly large number of games. He's just realy lucky.
make sure you play a mision if you're fighting a falcon. then it gives you the option to ignore it, 'couse it realy nevver kills it's points what with bs 3 and all.

Looted vehicles are way to weedy. I have some kans to krump the tanks. 6 kans rushiing with a mekboy and burna boyz with a KFF is very hard to kill and keep down.
