Welcome to Librarium Online!
I have posted some pics that I made with my new (and first) digital camera (and a few I scanned from real pics) and I would love to get some comment on them. Especially on the two skin types I have been using; goblin geen with dark green ink, and dark angels green with subsequent goblin green and snot green drybrush.
Sorry for the quality of the pics, it takes some getting used to the macro mode.
Any link to the pics or have I missed it?
I replied in the gallery, on the picture of your Warboss.
Warhammer Fantasy: Warriors of Chaos, High Elves
Warhammer 40k: Eldar, Space Marines, Orks
I like them the skin is diffrent then most I have seen. I yay for not conforming. I like your boyz alot only thing you need to do is Paint their teeth unless its just the pics. If yuo didnt do them i find basteile brown with a bleached bone dry brush looks very good.
Could you tell me which skin you mean as I have done them in two different ways. Compare the Slugga/Burna Boyz and the Tank Bustaz.
My advice to you Forecast would be this. The drybrush method tends to leave the model looking darker than the green ink method. Because of this it would be the perfect way to paint your warboss and nobz. For every other model in your army use the goblin green/green ink method. When you are doing grots use camo green/ green ink.
Both methods look equally good in my opinion, its just that you want your tougher fighters to be that much more darker than anyone else. Its also a nice why of picking out minis who have outdone themselves. Got a boy who was the last one standing after a Khorne Bezerker charge? Reward him with a new paintjob making him that little bit darker...........
My two cents........
