    How to finish..?

I'm planning my 1000 point speed freek army. So far, I have:

    <><>HQ<><>
1 Big Mek with Mega Armour, Big Hornz
    3 Mekboyz, 1 with mega armour, 1 with shoota/choppa, 1 with burna/choppa
Wartrukk with Rokkti Launcha, Rigger, RPJ, Top, 5pt armour plates
    --200 Points--

    <><>TROOPS<><>
9 Burna Boyz with 4 burnaz
    1 Mekboy with Mega Armour
Wartrukk with Rokkti Launcha, Rigger, RPJ, Top, 5pt armour plates
    --200 Points--

9 Trukk Boyz with 1 burna
    1 Nob with Mega Armour
Wartrukk with Rokkti Launcha, Rigger, RPJ, Top, 5pt armour plates
    --193 Points--

9 Trukk Boyz with 1 burna
    1 Nob with Mega Armour
Wartrukk with Rokkti Launcha, Rigger, RPJ, Top, 5pt armour plates
    --193 Points--

    TOTAL 786 Points

I can go up to 1010 points, that gives me up to 224 points left. I've been thinking something along the lines of:

-> Some 'ard boyz in a trukk, to give some added beef? (218 points)
-> Some warbuggies for zappiness? (4 for 192 points)
-> A battlewagon with some 'ard boyz for krumpin power? (Lots of points)

    etc. What are your thoughts?

    ROIGHT!

*still glaring jelously that KoS can put things in Trukks...*

I use the old 'Ard boyz in a Wagon trick for my Bad Moons, but the wagon itself comes to 200 points, so that is out of your range. Buggies would help with tankbustin', and would act as a diversion from your Orked up Trukks. Plus if they do shoot the trukks anyway, the buggies can roll around safely bu**ering up their lines! Also they fit perfectly with the KoS theme.
If you still want extra beefy crumpin' power, then get a Warboss, nothing is beefier or Krumpier, or indeed toothier, than da Boss!!!
Although your Mek seem quite tooled up anyway, so this too probably isn't a good plan.
I would go with the buggies myself.

Woa. Nice army. What I would sujjest is some Big Gunz. You can mount them in trukks, AND the rock by themselves. ^_^
Roses are #00044. Violets are #00077. All my base are belong to you.

The buggies will give the trukks some much needed cover. A nice mix of rokkits and big shootas will ensure plenty of covering fire and anti-tank weaponary.

May I recommend dropping the Mega Armour on your Nobz. I VERY rarely find that you make saves with Nob armour and when you do, the Nob will likely not survive any combat. Instead just arm the Nob with a Power Klaw and use the spare 5 points to buy armour plates for buggies.

Also Mega Armour is Nobz and Warboss only - your Big Mek and Mekboyz cannot legally take Mega Armour.

Mekboy cannot be given mega armour and *SLAP* even if you could why would you want to!!! 40+ points for a suped up ork nerd.

And by 'top' im guessing you mean an armoured top right? Thats not a great idea. The best part about ork transports in their open toppiness so they can move 12", deploy 2" and assault 6".

I would say take either a Looted Russ or a Basilisk to add some good ranged firepower to it.
I might just give you the extar punch you need.

For speedfreaks, a looted Hellhound absolutely ROCKS!

Bassies and Leman Russes don't exactly fit in with the fluff of speed freaks.

All right then... after removing armoured tops from my vehicles and replacing my illegal mega armors with PKs, I've ended up with 269 points to spend. I'm gonna use these on

    3x Warbuggies
    >>TL-Rokkit Launcha
    >>RPJ, Grot Riggers, 5pt armor plates
    150 pts

    2x Warbuggies
    >>TL-Rokkit Launcha
    >>RPJ, Grot Riggers, 5pt armor plates
    100 pts

That comes to 250 points, giving me 19 left over just to beef up my meks a bit or something. Is that too many warbuggies in your opinions?

You can never have too many buggies

Generally, take more models over wargear/upgrades. Grot riggers, red paint job and armour plates are mandatory for vehicles, while power klaws and sometimes Bosspole/Iron Gobs are mandatory for Nobz. Beyond that you're generally spending too much

19 Points... perhaps another mekboy for the retinue?
