Hey guys I've heard a lot of people talking about using rending warriors and I'd like to but where do you guys get the rending claws for the warriors? The boxed set only come with one set and spending $10 extra to order a 2 monsterous frames seems really expensive so is there anything else you can use?
Well, I used the extra ones that came with my Tyrant and Carnifex to make my first three warriors.
Besides that though, the only way to get them is through mail order. Unless you somehow know someone who plays nids and for some unknown reason doesnt use rending claws.
"I am the architect of fate!"
My advice is this: Use the Genestealer claws, old or new. They're nearly scale the the warrior, and don't look out of proportion at all (wheras, the monstrous Rending Claws don't really fit well on warriors, they look waay too big. The Genestealer claws take a little effort (you gotta separate them with a hobby knife, but that's nothing major), and in the end, they look nice.
For an example, take a look here:
or you can use the 3rdEd Lictor claws... although they arn't onn the mailorder list I've the part numbers to them.
9947010603404 for the left arm
9947010603405 for the right arm
they're £1 per arm... just search with those number in the UK online store.
As far as I know, you may place Scything Talons on your warriors, but you MUST tell your opponent they are RENDING CLAWS. As I said, as far as I know, this is legal, but I could be absolutely wrong.
Faced by rejection, no hope of acception,
Constantly thinking of destruction, never reminded of redemption.
Forgetting ressurection, seeing only frustration.
Pierced by a lethal injection, Bleeding from wounds re-opened, memories never mentioned,
Images never wanted, thoughts never summoned. Feelings fade away, most happiness freed from its cage. Broken from burdens, everything becomes a haze...

It's legal unless you're playing What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get. The Genestealer claws are probably the least expensive option, though (Genestealers have plenty of them, and aren't especially expensive (the claws are plastic, which is another bonus).Originally Posted by Mavrik
Thx the stealer claws seem like they would work the best for the cheapest cost since a stealer sprue with 2 of them is like $11 so its about the same but you can arm 4 warriors instead of 1. Those pics looked great except for the fact that the claws switched places on some of the warriors.
They're biomorph symbiotes. They grow wherever the DNA sequence says they should. If that differs from Warrior to Warrior, so be it... gives them a little character.
