The tau world of N'dras (back of codex) has been abondoned. I reckon it was Necrons, and they didnt like the Tau invaders. Infact im running a campaign if the fact. What do you guys reckon?
Necrons? or something more sinister....
The avatar is the emperor as a pimp. Well, i like it.
is there any hints or notes to say it was the necrons or are you just throwing a wild guess?
it could easily be the tyranids or even chaos.
WELL SAID, NO MORE SQUATS THEY ARE DEAD GET OVER ITOriginally Posted by artificer
How about Farsight? He provides interesting and cool fluff, and you can fight other tau in the campaign! Plus you can ally with other races, including chaos. Good luck!
Over and out
What, exactly, would be more sinister than Necrons?
The Inquisition, that's what!
Imperial XIV Corps:
22nd Emperor's Rangers- 0%
291st Catachan- 0%
2nd Naval Regiment- 0%
Eh, the inquisition is (mostly) not led by a dark god seeking the ultimate end to the universe
i like the eldar theory, but i myself have been wondering about N'dras, it was voluntarily abandoned by MOST of the population for unknown reasons, however, the population of N'dras is still large enough to be considered a Sept.
A Sept World, contrary to popular belief is not one planet but several planets and/ or solar systems, its somewhere in the codex can't remember where, but it requires a little bit of reading between the lines too figure out, but just a little. Normal colonies and planets etc. arent listed in the back of the codex for a reason, did you honestly think that the tau empire had such few planets etc in their name????
Anyway, back to the point, something went down at N'dras, the question is what......
I highly doubt it was a xenos species however.......
Officially the reason why the Tau decided to abandon N'dras could be anything...from chaos to necrons. We could only speculate til GW makes an official statement.
Personally it's probably because of Chaos. As stated in the codex, "The few remaining Tau from N'dras are regarded as being untrustworthy and are generally of quicker temper and brooding countenance." Probably long term exposure to chaos, eventhough the Tau seem to have no presence to the warp, eventually made them that way. There's still a possiblity that Chaos could still influence the Tau. This was taken from the novel "Fire Warrior":
"So disappointing, I thought. An incorruptible race (Tau). No psychic powers. No dark desires or secret horrors...Hmm... On that Count, at least, I was wrong. You merely keep them well hidden..."
Based on this, it's possible that the Tau could be influenced by chaos. Maybe because they were constantly exposed to chaos in N'dras, chaos eventually broke whatever defences they have and altered their personality. Well that's my hypothesis. What do you think?
Is all good...
